What year vehicles need a bypass?
In general, most vehicles (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM) starting with model year 2018 will need a bypass.
Do I need to remove the bypass before taking my vehicle in for service at a dealer?
Yes. The dealers tools require access to the security module. If a security module is not detected, then their tool will not work correctly.
